LinkMedic Privacy Policy
LinkMedic is a local broken link checker. There is no account and no cloud scanning service.
What data LinkMedic accesses
LinkMedic extracts links (<a href> and <img src> values) from your published posts, pages, and selected public custom post types. Extraction, storage, checking, and redirects all happen locally on your WordPress installation using WP-Cron and the WordPress HTTP API.
Where data is stored
Link and redirect data is stored in your own WordPress database, including a local custom table ({prefix}linkmedic_redirects) for redirects. LinkMedic does not store this data anywhere outside your WordPress install.
Network requests
The only outbound requests LinkMedic makes are the link checks themselves: HEAD requests (with GET fallback) to the URLs found in your own content, to determine whether they are broken, redirected, or fine. LinkMedic does not send tracking data, telemetry, or site data to a third-party API.
LinkMedic Pro additionally makes license activation, validation, and deactivation requests to Polar's License API (https://api.polar.sh/*) when you enter a Pro license key.
What LinkMedic does not do
