Chrome extension

Copy tables to Sheets, Excel, or CSV, without the manual cleanup.

TableTap scans the active tab for HTML tables and accessible ARIA tables/grids, then lets you copy or export them in the format your spreadsheet actually wants.

Why TableTap

Finds tables for you

Open the popup and TableTap lists every HTML table and ARIA grid on the page, with a label and size, so you don't hunt through the DOM.

Correct, spreadsheet-ready output

Colspan and rowspan are expanded into a proper rectangular grid, hidden cells are skipped, and CSV follows RFC 4180 quoting and escaping.

Nothing leaves your device

Table data is read from the active page only after you act, and stays on your device for copy, download, or export. No analytics, no data sent to a server.

How it works

Click the TableTap toolbar button on any page with tables.

Find your table

Hover a listed table to highlight it on the page, or use Locate to scroll to it.

FAQ

Does TableTap run on every site in the background?

No. It only accesses the active tab, and only after you click the toolbar button.

Does TableTap send my table data anywhere?

No. Table data stays on your device for copy, download, or export. It is never sent to a server.

What tables can it detect?

Standard HTML <table> elements and accessible ARIA tables/grids that use row and cell roles.

What does Pro add?

Real .xlsx export (including one workbook with a sheet per table) and clean-up options: trimming cells, removing empty rows/columns, normalizing numbers, and stripping footnote markers like [1].

Is Pro a subscription?

No. Pro is a one-time payment of €19 for lifetime access, handled by Polar (polar.sh) as merchant of record.

What network requests does TableTap make?

Only license activation, validation, and deactivation requests to Polar's License API, containing your license key and the TableTap activation label.
